Hi, I’m Bee ๐ข
I run on caffeine, half-finished tabs, and a deep belief that money advice shouldn’t make you feel like a disappointment.
Wired & Broke is the personal finance blog I wished existed back when I was Googling “how to budget” at 2am with seventeen unrelated tabs open. Every “just track your spending!” tip assumed I had the executive function of a tax accountant. Spoiler: I don’t.
Why this blog exists
Because ADHD brains and traditional money advice are speaking different languages. Most financial gurus tell you to “build discipline” โ which is great if discipline is a thing your brain can reliably produce. For the rest of us, we need systems that work with our wiring, not against it.
So here, you’ll find:
- Budgeting tips that don’t require spreadsheets you’ll abandon in 3 days
- Real talk about debt, impulse spending, and the dopamine-shopping spiral
- Toolkits and templates designed for brains that forget where they put their keys
- Zero shame, zero jargon, and the occasional caps-lock rant
What I’m not
I’m not a licensed financial advisor. I’m not telling you what to do with your money โ I’m sharing what’s worked for me and a community of ADHDers who refused to give up on getting our financial shit together.
